Amlou is typically served at breakfast after a meal, especially with tea.
It is excellent as a spread on bread or baghrir (Moroccan pancakes) or with pita bread or a french baguette with Cafe Au Lait.
It is well know of containing the best nutrient from almond, honey, and Argan Oil.
Amlou is commonly used by certain Berber tribes of Morocco for pastry making. It was consumed by the nomads who crossed the desert. It is a famous aphrodisiac that is traditionally kept in the bedroom of those that could afford it.
